Hartog & Luke Nyman
Hartog & Luke Nyman are touring from March to May 2010, under the title of "The Karma Parade".
"The Karma Parade" (from Luke Nyman) was the first song they played together. Almost everything is there: the great desire, human shortcomings, humor and perspective. Themes which the two experienced singer-songwriters know something about.
Despite their very different styles and backgrounds (Luke grew up in London, Hartog in Amsterdam), they complement each other well with their singing and guitar playing.
In short: beautiful songs are made even more astounding.
Luke Nyman has been working hard at playing for years with solo CD's (Man In A Box, Naked Flame) and in collaborations with other artists such as the singer-songwriter trio The Travlin' Tunes with Nadie and Mirco. In his songs he brings subtle emotions with British lightness and strong melodies.
Hartog in 2008 made his solo debut with the Story Teller CD, after years of singing in rock, jazz and soul bands. He writes intimate, personal songs full of emotion. In a review of OOR: "The songs of Hartog are great in terms of simplicity." Alright!
Both Hartog and Luke Nyman are working on a new album, so in stage, as well as shared songs, you will hear new solo songs in this Karma Parade.
